Here are some pictures from our April meeting with speaker Jeanne Hillinske-Christensen, a Horticulture Educator with UW-Extension AND a fellow Wild One from the south Milwaukee chapter. Her talk “Incorporating Natives into the Landscape” was interesting and informative. She and her husband Bruce also have a landscaping business “Horticultural Handiwork” in Waterford, WI (http://www.horthandiwork.com/). After this meeting I hired Jeanne to design a new native landscape plan for my suburban yard and was very pleased with the results. Thanks to Gary Feest for taking the pictures at the meeting.
