Overview
Description
Come join a growing movement in gardening of “going wild” by adding native pollinator plants to your property and learn how it can be done in any living arrangement. Thousands of plant species are listed as “native” to the Midwest region, but which are best for your garden, and what benefits do they provide? We will explore some of the best and most interesting native plant options that thrive in common conditions found in Southeast Wisconsin and Northeast Illinois. We will also learn how these plants are best added to the ground – whether sowing seeds or planting plugs into the soil.
